Today is the day of remembering old projects!
I made this Hot Rod hoodie approximately 2 years ago when my friend Nell and I decided literally the night before that we were going to go to this local comic convention. She made Arcee and I made Rod in a marathon sewing session which involved us both hopping back and forth between cutting and sewing with a single machine and single cutting mat between us.
A lot of (I think all, actually) the details on both of them were free handed and made up off the top of our heads as we desperately tried to race the clock.
Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures of Arcee on this computer - I’m shocked I still even had Rod. D: Maybe Nell has them, though, and maybe she’ll post them. Idk.
I’d really like to revisit this design with some more time/a MUCH better sewing machine sometime soon.
